Great for a dog with a limited diet

My 1 y.o. Australian Shepherd has a chicken food intolerance. Chicken makes her puke copious amounts of her very expensive kibble on me at 2am. Its not fun. Once, with the help of a crazy expensive specialty vet, we narrowed down her issue, it was time to AVOID ALL CHICKEN.

There is only one problem, chicken is in almost every single dog food and treat.

I was happy to find these Bully sticks NOT MADE IN CHINA. No chicken in these. My girl loves them. I allow her to have half of a 6 inch stick while I exercise so she stops bringing me her tennis ball every three seconds while I'm doing lunges (ya, there was an incident). It takes her 30-45 minutes to chew this amount. I taught her to trade treats so she allows me to take the unchewed part away from her for the next day.

No more puking, no more tripping on tennis balls and one happy doggie!

Hint: Make sure your dog has a full bowl of water when they are done chewing cause these make them thirsty!

This is the first time I have ordered these. I have a large lab and a smaller English Bulldog. My lab is a power chewer that has her usual chews gone in a second. Both of my pups loved these so much and the really did last for hours! They are not hollow , they’re nice and thick. Some are thinner but they last! There isn’t a terrible like other similar chews which is great. My Bulldog does have a sensitive stomach and gags herself if she gets too excited and try’s to chew too much at once she will get sick. This is because she loves it so much and try’s to put too much in her mouth at once. My lab doesn’t have these issues. I would have to say these are my dogs most favorite out of all the treats and chews I’ve tried so far and they last the longest! I would buy these again for sure.

I purchased a 5 pack of these and my dog loved them. They were very thick and barely had an odor, which was a bonus for me. After they were nearly gone, I ordered the 12 pack. This pack was REALLY stinky and the sticks were much smaller in width. I decided to go back to the 5 pack, thinking they would be like the original sticks... what a mistake! I've attached a picture so you can see the difference in size (first pack vs new pack). This new pack is NOT worth $18. I can't understand how there is such a discrepancy in size AND smell? I won't be ordering from this company again.

These are great. They have zero smell to them (finally!) and last a while. I have a French Bulldog who’s aggressive with her bully sticks and each one lasts about 2 hours. It’s a “save me” when we’re trying to watch a movie or I’m working from home and need to keep her busy. Expensive but most premium unscented ones are. We have reordered these regularly. One bag lasts only a week for us.

I bought the long skinny ones and the dog went through them pretty fast and was concerned about the small piece as she finished. This size is better as the bigger diameter gives her more to work on. My dog is a GoldenDoodle and has the need to chew and this gives her a chalenge to get that done. She does take a break, but it's gone in about a hour to hour and a half. I do like the fact that it does not stain and does not make her sticky. Would like to see about a 8" with a 1" to 1.5" diameter. Also something that lasts longer the last product lasted 4 to 5 days but is no longer sold.

Disclaimer: My dogs are not even "tough chewers" or Bully Breeds
Utterly disappointed, yet again, with the descriptions on these "bully" sticks everywhere on Amazon. We have tried several brands and they just aren't living up to a real, authentic bully stick - or anywhere close to it. This package arrived and TWO out of the FIVE sticks were a different consistency....almost like a long, crunchy cracker. My dog legitimately ate these in 10 seconds....like I had given him a cracker stick. The other one I tried giving him, that looked more like a "real" bully stick, he chewed directly after the "cracker" in approx. 10 minutes! I simply cannot afford to purchase bully sticks at this rate. I pay this much and purchase these with the idea they will last at least an hour. This is not just "my assumption", either, the descriptions are stating this "long chewing time" everywhere on Amazon. Including this brand. And I am getting fed up with it. I will be returning these to Amazon; and I rarely go to the trouble of returning.
I guess the 1 star illustrates the fact that these did not give my pups tummy or poop problems - if that helps anyone out.

Great way to occupy him when I have to do things... and he never gets bored. I put it in the "quizzle" that you can find on amazon, and he goes at it forever. Because he is 5 months, he is teething and will sometimes bleed onto this - but it happens even with soft toys so I wouldn't worry too much. Keep your eye on your dog when he gets down to the smaller bits of this because I've heard it's not safe if they swallow a chunk at the end.
