I got this book for my best friends 1 year old for Christmas. I thumbed through it before I sent it, and loved it for more than just sentimental reasons. It was a very cute book with great illustrations. I wish I had ordered two, bc I was sad to let it go, but I did. So anyway, I think my friends family has more outed a sentimental appeal to the book- either the author or illustrator (I can't remember) was one of her elementary teachers. Small world.

Renee Pearce, Author of Jackson & Auggie: Adventure in the Hudson Valley. Talk about unique and very cool. Great story with a dog and cat, and subliminally deep with different art styles on every page. How clever, it totally sucked me in. Definitely a recommend! Also for schools, they offer class room guides for both teachers and also art teachers to use this book as a classroom tool.

This book is a perfect fit for NY teachers to reach different aspects of the geographical, historical and art curriculum. This tale also reaches younger audiences to introduce them to these famous landmarks with the adorable, friendly pets as main characters. The rhyming tone makes it catchy and easy to understand and the illustrations are excellent. The fact that teachers can also incorporate various influential artists and paintings is an additional bonus to this book. I would recommend it to any parents of young children as well as teachers of all grade levels.
