About Jaco Kruger
I have always been a thinker, so therefore I probably have always been a writer. When I was younger I tried my hand at fiction, later at non-fiction and then at training manuals.
I enjoy all areas of writing, even those that some might find "boring" to write, as for me if the subject matter is interesting I find it worthwhile.
I have spent the last ten or so years researching and writing regarding Christian topics, mostly in blog or website form, sometimes in book form, I consider myself as growing and hope those who read my works will grow with me.
I have also spent the last 15 years or so in the ICT industry, and have learned allot of things that seems to want to come out in the form of manuals, and who knows maybe later in handbooks and how to guides.
I am interested in seeing where this all will lead, and I hope you will join me for the journey.
Enjoy the read.
For this is exactly what it is, for it was receiving these 77 Selah moments from the Holy Spirit spread out over exactly six months, for you it will be to spend 1 minute a day (okay sometimes 2 minutes) for 77 days to journey it with me. I believe there is reason for the order in which I received it, so I will not be mixing up the order, you will read it in the order that I got it.
As most of you would know Selah means to: Pause to carefully weigh the meaning of what you have just read or heard, lifting up your heart in praise to God for His great truths.
And that is exactly what I ask you to do. I know in this rushed society we live in many will want to quickly read through the book in one day and move on, well may the Holy Spirit sink all of those words into your hearts and change you over the course of the period you were supposed to read it in.
But for the rest, I sincerely implore you to do this as a 77 day journey, taking only 1 page per day, reading it (preferably in the mornings if you can – I also received most of them in the mornings) and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your heart during the day.
This book not only deals with grace covering those periods but also with how grace enables us to deal with the roots of these actions, helping us to change and be shaped into healthy, well balanced people that build others up and do not break them down. It also deals with reasons for these character traits coming forward in us and also with 10 main character traits we need to watch out for in ourselves as warning signs that something needs to be dealt with.
A look is also taken at ways to avoid being enabled or executed by others and doing so ourselves.
The book is written out of personal experience and prayerful contemplation on this subject and has been well received by its readers.
Grace is never an excuse but always a solution.... Jaco Kruger
2nd Revision - August 2016
In one to two hours of reading you can educate yourself or others on digital security.
In a digital world the need for security of data has moved beyond a “nice to have” to a necessity. This manual can be used to teach those who use digital devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones) but are not IT / Digital security staff about the dangers around and need for digital security in the workplace, and on private devices.
It also educates these users of how to play their part in keeping all their digital information and devices safe. Using this manual to educate yourself and your staff could potentially save you millions of dollars by creating a safekeeping culture.
It is no good you set up a massive security framework in your offices and critical files get stolen of a manager’s personal phone e-mail folder. Use this book to educate about, and activate a security mindset with all your employees / faculty / students / family members.
