I have been a fan of Jacobsen's Salt for about a year now, ever since my son insisted on trying some after watching a video on youtube about how salt is made. If you've never had organic sea alt before, you gotta try this! The flavor is really so much different than regular table salt. I don't know how to describe it except to say that it was a strong salt flavor without tasting overpoweringly salty.

The jar it now comes in is MUCH better than the ziploc bag it used to come in. This is more air tight and less prone to accidental spillage, which I was always worried about with baggies. And don't worry, it comes in a small container, but it lasts longer than you think it will, because the flavor is potent, so you will use less per serving than you think you will need.

Nice strong smoked odor radiates from this salt. I could sit for hours sniffing this salt. I may have inhaled some of it. However, it will taste like salt if you were to avoid smelling your food. This was an experimental purchase, as I've never tried smoked salt before. Will check out other products from Jacobsen in the future.

I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my dad. He literally has everything, so something small like this is perfect for him because he loves to cook, loves smoky things, and loves to salt his food (although he shouldn't!). He used it immediately and loved it. It is pretty smoky so it does the job! He is really happy with it.
