This video shows how to make beautiful images using a rubber stamp, watermark ink and Pearl Ex powders. There are so many uses for Pearl Ex. If anyone is unfamiliar with this product, you owe it to yourself to check it out. You can use it in rubber stamping, as I show in the video, or you can use it in a multitude of other ways -- mix it with almost any medium then use it in bead making, in molded shapes with UTEE, for coloring Polymer clay shapes, pottery, clay, and many more. Pearl Ex pigments are pure color -- bright, clear and stunningly beautiful. I am trying to think of a negative aspect, but really, I can not. It is worth mentioning perhaps that Pearl Ex, being pure mica powder, has no "sticking agent" meaning it will not stick to your projects unless you have first mixed it with another medium.

This was an extremely wonderful purchase! All the colors in this set are so beautiful especially the duo blue-green!

Personally, I have used these pigments to:
- Mix with paint to create a beautiful shimmery paint
- Mix with clear embossing powder to color it
- Use it dry like a chalk (but don't forget to seal it with a spray!)
- Color your polymer clay
- Make Glimmer Mist
- Mix it with Future Floor Finish to make it a paint

The only bad thing I'd have to say is that these pigments are quite messy if handled carelessly. (I have knocked it over a couple times and it was a pain to clean up.)

I've been using PearlEx almost as long as I've been using polymer clay - the two go together so very well.

The colors range from "standard" metallic and pearl colors - creamy white, shimmery pewter, gold and silver, not to mention copper - and several shades of each, to wonderful "duo" colors like Duo Red/Blue which is just what it sounds like - in one light it looks red, in another you see shimmering blues and so on. Every color of the rainbow is represented in more than one way.

With polymer clay, applied before baking, the powder adheres rather well, although if the item is to be handled (as with jewelry) a final sealer is recommended.

Because they are a powder, they can be inhaled if you're not careful so if you're using them for more than just a quick application on a small piece, a mask is recommended.

I recently took a 4 day course in Polymar bead making. The instructor was selling this brand mica powder for $3.50 each. When brushed on polymar clay, they give a beautiful added dimension and really sparkle when the beads have been baked. The 32 pack is great because you have so many colors to choose from and the individual cost comes out to about $1.57 each. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've been using this product, including this kit, for a few years. My brother purchased this kit for me as a gift after showing him the wood/iron benches I resurfaced. Jacquard produces excellent products, I rely on their line, often. I've rejuvenated a weathered/rusted/rotting bench-set using silver, copper, carbon black, bronze, sealing them plus adding to top coats for multi-depth surfaces. I've also added these to diluted paint medium to paint on very large canvases. I use the powdered pigments for almost everything in artwork, plus, they sealed the wood/resin/clay/plaster making them uv/weather resistant. I've used these prior to refining with heat and they with great! 5-stars. It's a VERY FINE POWDER, a LITTLE GOES a VERY LONG WAY!

Excellent slew of colors. I use them as a cheap girls eyeshadow set, they are safe to use, and results are better than MAC eyeshadow, which are WAY expensive! Colors are bold, bright and long lasting, they also will not crease in eye lid, which is better than MAC shadows.

I also used them to color an epoxy bracelet I was making, these color pigments are multipurpose, and it worked like a charm. I added a small amount of blue to give the look of waves in the bracelet, and it worked wonderfully.

I highly recommend these pigments, for numerous uses.

This set is amazing! I use mica for crafting and I could not be happier with the variety of colors. The mica is fine, very sparkly, and with so many colors to choose from it takes me a while to decide which one to use! This is one of my favorite purchases I have ever made on Amazon. The containers are small, but for one use, you don't need a lot. This will last a long, long time.

These are indescribable!! Went off the reviews and purchased solely to color clear embossing powder and performed a test with the green and it turned out unbelievable!! Gorgeous pearlescent sheen and a lovely color...Extremely pleased with this purchase; to the most...The manufacturer's package was beat up and I was not too happy about that, BUT since this purchase was for my use personally, I ignored that fact because the pigment colors are 10 times prettier in person than the picture and they actually mesmerized me; fact!; so I just taped the box where it was dented/torn...The beautiful array of colors is magnificent!! DO NOT hesitate to make this purchase if you are sitting there thinking about it...$45.00 divided by 32 jars = $1.41 each...WHAT A STEAL!!!
