My daughter has been playing with one she received from Christmas for 2 years. We liked it so much we bought it for a friend. It comes with a lot of kitties, helicopter, rescue van and accessories. Some of the pieces come apart easily, like the helicopter plastic cover and the top of the recue can. They are easy to snap back on. Great for 3 years and up.

Perfect for my daughter's Hello Kitty collection

As a rescue set, I removed one of the duplicate figures, and set about crafting it to look horribly injured. I fashioned a small arm sling. Painted some blood drops in well placed locations. Painted on some stitches. And, then scortched the lead with a butane lighter. That got placed inside a snow globe (as the Hello Kitty that needed rescuing), and shipped the entire set, including the final assembled snow globe, to my daughter. She was instantly delighted! Not only does she have an amazing Hello Kitty set, but also has a one of a kind and hand made item. The snow globe has a place of honor on her desk.
For the true collectors among us, yes, I have destroyed the value of the set, per se. It's an opened box. One of the items is missing. But, my daughter would never part with it, no matter. The world is happy.

Cute but kind of a hassle

I love hello kitty, and so does my 2 yr old daughter. Sometimes the toys can get expensive but this was priced reasonably. However it was packaged in some superhuman proof plastic toy wrapping/box ensemble that I cut my finger on just trying to unbox it. So that's one star less.
I took off another star because, after owning the toy for a couple months, I see that it's cheaply made compared to other plastic playsets like Little People, Imaginext, or even Playmobil. I dont expect toys to be indestructible, but I hate that my 2 year old, my 4 year old, and even my 6 year old cant put the door or lid back on this van. Also each time they play with it or try to put the little kitty figures inside, the helicopter lid/hatch comes off and I have to go looking for it(its mostly clear, but with hello kitty face on it). I find this very irritating...
Nonetheless my kids like playing with it, and it is cute, so I guess that's worth something.

I decided to get this for my daughter last christmas, and she loves playing with it. She even got the other complete set for her birthday. On this set they are all hello kitty with different uniforms. Sometimes they dont stay where they are suppose to even though they have a hole on the bottom of their feet where its suppose to go. It easily comes off. She later got the hello kitty airplane that one has different characters. And a cart with hello kitty plates just if it was an airline. This one is cool because it was a helicopter, an ambulance. The bed that is suppose to be carried by the helicopter would occasionally fall off which can get annoying after a while.

If you’re a Hello kitty lover it is super cute, perfect for any age. The ambulance & Helicopter is fun to play with. The one only downfall that I would say is that the xtra small pieces are made out of paper, any kid would tear that up right away. The seat area on the ambulance is very tight to get through to even put a hello kitty, I included a picture of a small childs hand trying to place a hello kitty in the seat. The only reason I gave it a 5 star is because it is super cute & I love Hello Kitty but based on the product itself I would give it a 3 Stars.

This set entertained my granddaughter for hours upon end. The kitties are hard plastic, and not a rubbery type material. It has to be assembled, but is pretty easy to do. The door and roof of the ambulance are assembled by push in buttons that sort of snap into holes on the ambulance. Now, when she picks up the ambulance by the open door, which happened multiple times, the door snaps off and she gets frustrated. However, putting it back on is easy for an adult. I'm torn between wishing it stayed on by some other means, and thinking that it would break off permanently if so.

The blood pressure stand, Xray machine, doctors tools, and Xrays are all cardboard cutouts. Worthless. But she likes the set as a whole, so throwing out those components wasn't a big deal.
