Product Description
Crassula ovuta. Commonly known as jade plant, friendship tree, lucky plant or Money Plant, Crassula ovata is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers. It is native to South Africa, and is common as a houseplant worldwide. Jades are evergreen plants with thick branches and smooth, rounded, fleshy leaves that grow in opposing pairs along the branches. Leaves are a rich jade green; some varieties may develop a red tinge on the edges of leaves when exposed to high levels of sunlight. New stem growth is the same color and texture as the leaves, but becomes brown and woody with age. Under the right conditions, they may produce small white or pink star like flowers in early spring.

Plant arrived very fast...within a day or two, but that's it for the positive. When I opened the box, I found several leaves had fallen off and a stem had broken off, and the overall dimension of the plant was no where near 10-12 inches in any direction Mine was about 3-1/2 - 4 inches high and about 5-6 inches wide.....and because a stem had broken off, it now looked like half a plant. Very disappointed. I just got back from Home Depot and their plants are so nice and a lot less expensive than what I spend on this "half" plant. I wish I had thought of going there first. Oh well, live and learn.
I received this Jade plant it was very very lopped sided and dirty. I tried using grow lights to control it back to an upright position. With no luck I just transplanted into a huge pot but had to pot it in as such an odd angle. Adding some string and sticks I managed to tame this plant! Few weeks go by and it's standing on its own! This is an easy plant to manage and it's beautiful
November update. Happy and thriving, cleaning the leaves of this thing was very daunting but well worth it. Currently using sticks to space them apart. Help distance from each other. Going well so far! Uploaded 2 photos for this update. Should be last 2. Will try to keep updated!
