About this item

The Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer was a formidable German tank destroyer used during World War II. Based on the Panther tank chassis, it featured a powerful 8.8 cm PaK 43 cannon that could penetrate even the thickest armor of Allied tanks at long range. The Jagdpanther also had excellent mobility and a low profile, making it a stealthy and deadly opponent on the battlefield. Its impressive combat performance made it a feared weapon among Allied tank crews, and it remains a popular subject among military history enthusiasts and scale modelers to this day.

Model Features and Functions:

• Authentic 1:43 Scale Model Replica of the Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer used by the German Army during the later stages of WWII.
• Model comes shipped in window-style box with plastic base and clear dust cover.
• The model can be removed from the black display base if desired via two Phillips-style screws.
• Small booklet is included with information and history on the real vehicle.
• Authentic German Camouflage Paint Scheme, complete with alternating Green and Tan pattern.
• High-quality decals including German Army Cross and vehicle identification number.
• Moveable Rubber Tracks with realistic track pattern and detailed frames.
• Functional 88mm Main Gun can be moved up or down.
• Functional 7.92mm Secondary Machine Gun can also be moved up or down.
• Tie-down shackle accessories can be articulated up or down.
• Numerous details parts included on the model which include exhausts, cooling vents and fans, antenna, extra track links and pads mounted on the side of the vehicle, shovel, lights, slopped armor, and more!

    The model itself is fine but the display case it came in was broken beyond repair. This was likely due to the shipping courier and the fact that it was very poorly packaged for shipping. It was an accident waiting to happen.
