Most woman would love to be saved, but Haven doesn’t believe in prince charming and happily ever after’s but when she sees her savor, named Andrew again he’s insistent on giving her a ride home. Andrew is a local artist, when lots of friends, a big family, and what appears to be a lot of money. And while Haven’s agreed to accept his help until her mother’s thug friends back off, she’s not about to become her mother and accept any money.
Andrew becomes a huge contradiction. One moment he acts like he wants a relationship, and the next moment he leaves her wondering if she’s just a pity project. But the closer they become the more clearly Haven can tell that he’s keeping something from her.
Haven wants answers and Andrew wants trust…
”I wasn’t taught to trust. I was taught to survive, which was what I was doing until you came along.”
The longer Haven stays, the harder she falls, but when Andrews past finally catches up with him, Haven is rocked to the core, and has to wonder if she ever really knew Andrew.

Be forewarned if you are a stickler for good editing...this book will make you want to throw your book at times! A note to authors...don't lose a good story line in bad editing!!!
Oh, me feels! I really LOVED the depth and versatile diversity of Jagged Love!!
For me, it emoted themes of unconditional love, trust, the destruction of drug abuse, family, and sensation of longing to have a home to call your own.
Haven McClain has had a hard life with a lot of misplaced trust in individuals that have constantly ruined or let her down.
She meets enigmatic art painter-- Andrew Foster, of whom has a past of his own, and the two are instantly drawn to one another with renewed hopes and dreams they seek within the other.
But what happens when old skeletons and insecurities rear their ugly head and try to make a play on your future?
"Playing the victim won't propel you forward in life, it will keep you stuck in the past."
Will you stay back and let it identify you and ultimately succumb you?...
"These scars are simply a part of you, but they do bit define you."
Or will you rise up against your fears and obscurities and take life by the horns?...And by your own conditions?
Will love truly triumph? Or will it, fail? Read and you will find out!
#A heartfelt and relatable book that had me cheering, guessing, and also shocked by the turn of events that author Nicole Simone packs in this beautifully written read!! I loved everything from the story, the pacing, and even the main and secondary characters!! Andrew and Haven't BFF's were the best!! Matthew, Andrew's bestie was the ultimate husband and family man. While, Monica, Haven's bestie-- had really great talks and advice for Haven when she (Haven) was at her lowest!Read more ›
