we cannot deny that this song is catchy and gets you playing it over and over. the song is "good". but we can tell kim's vocals are AIIIIGHT. she cant really sing. but with support of todays technology it doesntmatter. the machine sings for her. even I can sing better and i dont even sing that great. but im not going to hate i look forward to her album im curious
I bought the song because of the fact that part of the proceeds go to St. Jude's Hospital for cancer patients. I really don't see where it's that bad. It's a dance song like so many others out there. It's not the best song out there, in fact, to be honest, it's kind of lame. But it's not unbearable in my opinion. It's just a fun song recorded for enjoyment and a good time and for a good cause. Give the song a chance. If the #1 song of 2010 Amazon's Top 100 songs was a song called "F**K You" then something is wrong in my opinion.
Yeah, the Kardashians are all over the tv, but so is Charlie Sheen. So, let's lighten up a little and give the girl a break.
I'm not sure why the other two reviews were so scathing. I disagree that Kim is trying to become a "singer" - this was just a fun little project she did and half of the proceeds go to charity. I, for one, think that alone is worth buying. It has a fun little beat and is good to listen to once in a while.

Why this song SUCKS: The vocals are monotone, boring and unexcited, overall uninteresting. Like a not-so-great karaoke.
The Lyrics are really uninspired. "Straight to the front of the line" "Gonna work like I'm paying my bills" "So I can Rock the Night Away", "Turn me up, Turn me up, Turn me, turn me, turn me up... yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah..." Basically it's a ballad of pretty little spoiled rich girl going clubbing.
Musically it is nothing special, it's unremarkable. The beat is dull. The melody is annoying as her voice.
I listened to this damn song several times while writing this review.. I have a headache now.
There is no hope for this song and should be forgotten and not covered by any band.
When it has came down to Kim Kardashian, she has really made too much of a staple of herself from her reality show era with Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Yet, it is still unfortuante she hasn't really shown that she can be more than a reality show actress. Now she is trying to prove she can be a singer. Unfortunately, she is trying too hard that it really is waste of time with herself, and even in her family. Her single Jam is definitely a really bad performance. She really showed that she just doesn't know how to sing, or is trying too hard to to get into the feeling that she can mix in with the Rihanna's and Lady Gaga's musically. Yet, it feels more like a reality star not just in auto-tune with a dance mix of musak. I think it is a disgrace that she is tyring too hard to be, on how poor Heidi Montag was with last year's failing Superficial record. Kim, try and find something better than putting yourself in front of a microphone, because you simply don't even know how to jam.
I love Kim and I love their tv show. But she didnt have to sing to give to charity. If you cant sing, dont sing. How much did she earn from her 30th birthday party in Vegas? She could give that to charity. Or how much does she get from every episode of her show? Instead of getting those Birkins she couls give to charity. Why sing? But I heard she says she always donates 10% to church and charity. Awesome. Maybe this song was really just for fun.
