There are probably five or six different types of guns you'll pick up, but they all basically shoot one of two ways: either one shot at a time or multiple at a time. There were grenades, but their blast radius was so limited that they weren't worth using so I never did.
The plot starts at the endscene of Casino Royale, works it's way through 9/10ths of Quantum of Solace, only to take you back to the beginning of Casino Royale and tell the whole movie in flash back levels before you play the final level related to Quantum of Solace (game play time probably between 4 and 7 hours total). Personally, I think it should have all been told in chronological order. And since its a movie game, the game doesn't really try to make the plot followable at all, expecting that you saw the movie and already know what's going to happen. So don't play unless you've seen the movies (the movies are way better anyway, so why would you ruin the "surprise" by playing this first?).
The most disgusting quality of this game is just that: the image quality. The game looks so dated, like it was made 4 years after the Goldeneye game. What, is this on a Quake III engine??? Dispite its crappy appearance, it still manages to soak up all computing power and often becomes unplayable because it's moving so slow. If you pretend you're in the matrix and moving in slow motion, you can almost fool yourself into thinking your playing a fun game... almost.
I give 3 stars for the fun rating because for a single level I was having fun, having been conned into believing the game would progress into more exciting levels and that the cellphones would be useful. Overall, 2 stars because it at least managed to take my mind off the clock for a few hours, which has to count for something.
For the reviewer who was wondering about the controls for the Fight sequences you have to target your mouse over the Circle target and click the Right Mouse Button when you are over the Main Circle.
Anyways, the game as you may already suspect is for the most part is your Classic FPS (First Person Shooter) with the occasional cut scenes. The Best way I can explain the games story is basically all the deleted scenes that had been cut out from both Casino Royale (2006 Version) and Quantum of Solace Movies (I highly recommend seeing both movies before playing this game) and are reworked/adapted into a FPS Controlled Game. It Starts out at the end of Casino Royale (2006 Version) just before the Credits starts rolling into Quantum of Solace right after the car chase at the beginning of Quantum of Solace. You then keep playing through Quantum up to when Bond crashes the twin engine plane near the caves in Bolivia. While in those caves with Camille (The Bond Girl for Quantum) the Game switches into a flashback mode and brings you back to the part in Casino Royale where Bond in chasing the Bomber through half of the Island in the Bahamahas to all thee way thru When Vespa was drowned in the elevator in the sinking house in Italy. You then finish out the Rest of the Game in Quantum of Solace Destroying Dominic Green's Desert Fortress back in Boliva.
You start out and always have the P99 Walther hand Gun and will pick a different variety of weaponry throughout the game. The Graphics are outstanding and the Game Play was very challenging to work through. I thought the game did a good job in giving you that "Bond experience" and realism that makes the Daniel Craig "Bond" so accelerating. I only played this game in single player mode and not the multiplayer. The only real critism of the game I had was the ending of it sort of left you hanging there like there should have been more.

The game plays flawlessly on both of the PC Systems, So for those with slightly older PC Models should be able to play this game nicely as well.
***WARNING For PC's Running Windows XP Only***, There is a documented issue in Wikipedia that the game will not run on Windows XP IF Internet Explorer 8 or an updated version of Internet Explorer 7 is installed on the system. This essentially makes the game unplayable for users who keep their Windows XP systems up to date. The issue seems to be fixed if the user reverts the system to Internet Explorer 7 prior to the June 2009 Security Update, by uninstalling all IE7 Security Updates issued since then, but this has the obvious repercussion of leaving the system insecure. As of May 2010, Activision has not released a patch addressing this issue, and there is no page on Activision's customer support database acknowledging it. The Game plays fine on Windows Vista/7 with Internet Explorer 7 or higher.
Of course this was not an issue for me since all the PC's in My house primarily run Windows 7, however I wanted the XP community to be aware before buying this game about the flaw.
Overall, I had a great time playing this game and will probably do so again. I would recommend this game for those that enjoy Daniel Craig's "James Bond" and want to experience the thrill of the new Reboot Movies. I so enjoyed this game I have already ordered the New Daniel Craig "James Bond" PC original game Blood Stone.
