We can fall into blaming God while allowing a swift degradation of our beliefs. We must brace ourselves with the truth that God didn’t do this. And sometimes we must forgive Him for not stopping it. Especially when we go from one form of suffering to another; yielding to the dogged enemy over-and-over. Hopefully, eventually ending-up on our knees.
The key is realizing you have control as to how you will get back up again, and again and again.
So, here’s the question: Do you believe you can overcome?
Fearing something or someone typically evokes negative emotions of some inevitable disaster. We are afraid we are going to get hurt.
When we love God, the last thing we want is to think is that He is going to hurt us. Yet, we often do think this way. We are judging God based on the horrible things we’ve experienced in life and from the world. We are judging Him based on our own insecurities, unbelief, and lack of faith.
In this devotional, we highlight some important Biblical words and concepts. We ask you to not only read the weekly teaching but also consider some Keywords we’ve added to the text. Additionally, there’s a question at the end of the reading that you can answer in your journal or diary. These tools are designed to promote wisdom and understanding. The best part is when you approach this book with an open and honest heart God will engage with you faithfully in the process.
