    When working for the Navy I had ready access to a fairly current edition of JFS from FY76-05. Efforts to beg, borrow or uh, borrow a more recent edition fell on deaf ears. Now, as a contractor, I spent my own money to get a factory-sealed book and we've been pleased to use it in the office ever since. More info than I'd ever need but quite suitable for my USN and FMS needs. (And if I ever need something to press flowers with, this'll work well!)

    Everything I expected from Jane's. Much more enjoyable reading than JAWA.

    I appreciated the fact that each weapon system in each ship entry had individual range stats so I didn't need to look it up individually.
