About Janet Brent

Janet Brent is a graphic/web designer who earned her graphic design degree from the Art Institute of Portland. After designing websites, landing pages, sales funnels, e-books, and print books she decided to combine all her skills and start a self-publishing arm, Dark Quarks Publishing. She now helps women launch solo books and multi-author collaboration books with the Birth book series and is passionate about helping women own their stories in their business, brand, and marketing to impact more people. She is the ‘Book Doula’ to help you grow your platform. She has been featured in The Guardian and is writing her first solo book memoir.

Janet lives in the Pacific Northwest with her partner and is a loving mother to her daughter, born a micro-preemie at 28 weeks gestation. She has a black cat, and loves to read, write, and paint.
