I was already in love with a simplified life, long before I knew there was a name for it. Simplicity was who I was at the core. But over the years, with marriage, kids, back to graduate school, a mortgage, creeping piles of stuff and a busy schedule, I started losing my center. My gut and soul ached for a way to find my way back.
In the midst of the chaos one afternoon, I read about a one-time evening class offered at a local community college, called Simplify Your Life. There would be no stopping me. Sometimes you just know with every single fiber of your being that you have found your home, your true north, whatever you want to call it. I had found mine. I ran to that class. Something told me it was my ticket back to my soul. There were 200 people in that class of all stripes, ages, sizes. We all craved that simplified something.
