"Good story, using many characters from the Occupied Seattle duology, and many new ones, both human and alien. Mankind is introduced to alien life, and discovers ET was a minority, Alien was closer to the truth. Great action, in space and on planet." -wayneenz
"His writing is smooth and the story flows quickly. He plausibly ties mythology, military, and quantum science into an entertaining science fiction tale. His allusions and tips of the hat to other SciFi greats as well as the classics are entertaining and make the work that much more enjoyable. This book is a great value, a quick read, and will leave you wanting more." - Dave C.
"The Halo Universe Master Chief is nothing compared to Chief Ryan." - Pene Bryant

However the central idea behind the plot is actually kind of interesting so the author does have good ideas, he just really needed to take more writing workshops and work harder on the craft of writing.
I can't really recommend these books because there are so many other books out there with good ideas *and* good writing. Don't waste your time on this series unless you have a really high tolerance for clichéd characters and cheeseball dialogue.
Anyhow, within the confines of the story the story develops logically and quickly. Where some authors spend entire chapters dwelling on absurd minutiae Kennedy takes you right along with a commando-raid pace that's riveting and hard to put down.
My recommendation? Buy it and plan on losing yourself in a good yarn!
Several parts of thsi book could have been lifted from other authors, particularly reminiscent of BW Larsons star force series. Oddly enough I like this authors version better.
Don't think too hard about this book just go along for the ride. It is quite a ride with space battles, secret agents, enhanced humans and finally the start of a new world order which promises to leave the Chinese and the French (apparently the author dislikes France) out in the cold. This is not a deep read but it is fast and furious
