Jansal Valley black mustard seed, 20 ounce. An early version of table mustard can be found going back to the middle ages, when it was ground and put in wine. From the cabbage family, black mustard seeds, along with brown, have the strongest flavors. Commonly used in making chutney and pickles. When cooking, add toward the end and heat gently.
