Pricey But Works and Seems Well Made

It is kind of expensive for what it is, but when you're repairing camera lenses it's kind of hard to do without this tool. You could spend time making your own suction tool or just buy this one; it does work well.
Mine does leave a slight residue where the suction cup contacts the lens; however, I have had no issues wiping it away with a PEC pad or Kimwipe lightly dampened with distilled water. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Good suction tool for the precise placement of lenses.

This is a difficult tool to live without if you take apart old lenses. You can also use the suction cup on the bottom of a kid's toothbrush to pull lenses, but for getting precision placement - you really need something that can release the suction. So why the 3 stars and not 4 or 5? Well, one star is for price. It's kind of a lot for what you get, but good luck finding decent alternatives. Why the other star? The suction cup wasn't non-marking out of the box. The instructions say to clean it in ether. Who has ether laying around? And you're not going to buy ether just to clean this suction. So I used isopropyl alcohol and bathed it a couple of times in it. Still left a mark on the back of the lens. So then the lens had to be cleaned in situ, which kind of stinks after one got the lens perfect and it is hard to make it as good as it was when you have to clean deep in a tube. So maybe more dunks in alcohol will do it - but as of right now it has that limitation. For the price paid, one does not expect it to come with a suction cup that leaves marks out of the box.
