Everything has been improved and redesigned for the better. We have improved our design making them more tapered at the wrist for better support whether you are using our lace up or hook and loop models. The gloves are true to weight and come in 4 different weights, 12 oz, 14oz, 16oz or 18oz models that will take any abuse subjected to them. Our heavy duty nylon lining is even thicker, durable, and more comfortable than our previous 1.0s. We have also provided the user with 1.5” of the best impact absorbing foam combination seen in any training glove. These are hands down the best training gloves on the market. Many have tried and many have failed to produce a glove of this quality. Ring to Cage brings you the best training equipment money can buy. Period!

ORIGINAL: Very good gloves for the price. The leather is durable and the stitching is solid. These will never be mistaken for Winning gloves, but they are also a third of the price. The gloves are a little tight, so keep that in mind. I have small hands and with wraps, it's a little tough to get your gloves on. The price seems to be steadily climbing, which is disappointing. At the old price point of $100 and under, they were the best value on the market. Now for $119 ($149+ with metallic), the value isn't quite the same. At that price you're better off with a custom option such as Sabas, Top Boxer, or UMA. If you want a stylish, reliable glove for a decent price, then give these a shot.
Increasing price point
I clean the outside once in a while with a mix of water & apple cider vinegar, let them dry, and then some leather conditioner. So far they are holding up real well.
As was mentioned by others, the cracked black is more of a cracked dark gray, but they look good.
I paid 160 for the metallic red velcro gloves and was very disappointed then they arrived. The left glove seemed like it has already been used or just made poorly and somehow passed the inspection process. The sleeve is shorter than it is on the right glove, the logo on the back of the glove has already started peeling, the logo on the wrist is dirty and not white anymore but a grey color, the stitching is terrible throughout most of the glove, and some of the metallic has already rubbed off mainly at the finger tips... for $160 I was expecting better.
I don't know if it's the gloves or a new found respect for smackitude, but we're happy.
Edit: Atleast i got reply from the company. 3 stars from 1 star.
Cons: Quality of materials is questionable, feels like faux leather. Weight feels light for 16oz. I got 0.8lbs on a scale (only goes up by increments of 0.2 so take that w a grain of salt)
