Jayla has spent most of her life out of the limelight, sheltered from the world by her protective parents. Her father is an insanely famous musician, her best friend a supermodel. Her circle of friends includes other famous musicians and professional athletes. On the surface, it seems like a world most of us just couldn't understand. But despite the trappings of celebrity and wealth, they are real people with real problems. Every one of them reminds the reader of someone they know.
While Jayla is at the center of this book, several other characters have stories of their own that weave in and out of the storyline. The author's writing made the characters and their stories thoroughly engaging. It was the kind of book that just drew me in and wouldn't let me go without a struggle. It was beautifully written and I can't wait to read more from her!
Again, congrats on your debut! I look forward to your future books. :)

I really enjoyed this story, Jayla is a feisty, sassy girl and Zach is young man who sometimes can't seem to do right for wrong, but who loves his girl very much. Their journey is long, and at times troubled but they keep trying to make it work. My only criticism of the story would be that, for me personally, there were too many peripheral characters. I struggled at times to keep up with who was who and who was going out with who, however, there was a strong core of central characters who were great.
I would definitely recommend this book.
Brilliant writing and fully realised characters meant I engaged more, and if there was a criticism at all, it was the amount of characters featured in the book. At times, I found them all slightly overwhelming and a tad confusing. Still, it didn't spoil my enjoyment at all.
This needs to be adapted for TV.
A truly fantastic read. Highly recommended and not to be missed.
Every page has been written to enjoy the reader and to create a fabulous story. i highly reccomend this book i am so looking forward to the other books in this series.
