I have been a jaybird fan and user for over 5 years now. I started with the original wireless earbuds, and moved throughout the entire portfolio from the X1 to the X2, X3, and most recently the Freedom. The sound quality has always been incredible, and with the latest versions, the ability to change sound profiles so easily, view battery life on my iPhone, and more have been great. Battery life has never been an issue for me, but the Freedom had this wonky charging clip that has a proprietary charger - this is still the only downside for me.
Sound quality here is the same as always - up to par, well balanced, and the ability to adjust is wonderful. I highly recommend downloading the app to tweak settings to your liking.
Battery life is great as always.
The fit is also great - this has always been my favorite thing with JayBird is that it is so easy to get a fit that works for so many ear types - I have tried other brands and had so many issues with fit - it is great to be able to customize as much as they allow.
Connectivity is also amazing per usual - the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously is one of the things that keeps me coming back to this brand.
I highly recommend these headphones for everything - seriously my favorite.
These seemed like an awesome idea but very poor in execution. The first issue I have and what a LOT of people have is that the ear buds do not stay inside the ear tips regardless if they're the foam or rubber ones. The tips are left in your ear while the ear buds are dangling. I contacted jaybird about this via email and told them I already tried replacement tips. Their response what that they will send me replacement tips. This was infuriating because I already told them that sending replacement tips will not fix the issue and I would like a replacement. Mark the customer service rep that responded didn't even read my email. The following day I received an automated response that the case was closed. This was even crazier! Mark didn't even have the decency to respond, he just got lazy and closed the case. I went onto a chat to try to get someone else and they said that they don't cover fit issues. I explained multiple times that it's not a fit issue, they fit in my ears fine, it's a product issue. They just keep repeating that they don't cover fit issues. I would not recommend any jaybird products to anyone due to this big design flaw and incompetence of their customer service representatives.
