About the Book...
It became clear to me, somewhere in the midst of this series, that Peter Baird would have to address the problem of Islamo-Fascism. Islam is clearly on the rise here in the United States, especially in Dearborn, Michigan, where Shariah law rather than the United States Constitution is clearly preferred by the residents.
Friedrich Nietzsche once wrote, "When one gives up the Christian God one thereby deprives oneself of the right to Christian morality. For the latter is manifestly not self-evident. Christianity is a system, a consistently thought out and complete view of things. When one breaks out of it a fundamental element-the belief in God-one breaks the whole thing into pieces."
Without the Christian God to influence and inform our citizens as to their natural rights and duties toward their fellow man, the liberties we enjoy in this country cannot be sustained. The gods of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, or Atheism (yes, I'm aware of the irony.) do not grant rights to men, such as the right to life, liberty, property, or the pursuit of happiness we've come to know and cherish in this country. Replacing the Christian foundation with another is to, essentially, undermine the whole of the country, and thereby bring about its collapse.
This understanding is at the heart of God and Country. It's a frightening prospect, but I still hope you enjoy the story.
