I have an old copy of this on cassette which includes a version of Going Down by Amir Derakh apparently not included on the cd.
Too bad, as it's my second favorite track, next to Walter Trout doing Blues Deluxe. Only a couple of great tunes, mostly mediocre compared to the originals. Nice try though.

This album is excellent. It shows just how versatile Jeff Beck's music is, and the wide range of players it appeals to. There is some truly masterful work on this album, particularly the solo from George Lynch on 'people get ready'. You may be a Jeff Beck fan when you buy this album, but its also a vehicle for those he inspired to carry forward his influence. Listen to the music, i bet you expand your own music collection with some of these artists afterwards...

Why bother. This cd proves he is the best. Not a single note touches the songs the way Jeff played them, same as when someone tries to cover a Jimi Hendrix song. I have a copy of this disk and use it to prop open a small window in my garage. Buy Jeff's music if that is what you want to listen to.
