They're easy to walk in, however, if you're not used to wearing big heeled shoes, your feet will be killing you, because they really don't have any kind of support. I know mine were killing me after 2 hours, but everyone is different. A problem I have, is I absolutely needed to walk on a flat smooth surface. If I stepped on a crack or the side edge of my shoe fell right on the dips between a tiled floor, I would lose balance, and almost fall. But that might of just been me being clumsy haha.
The shoe is true to its size, so no need to worry about ending up with a size too small or big. Something that is a small problem are the laces. They're... they don't like to stay tied. You'll have to double, maybe even triple knot them to make sure they don't come undone.
All in all, I am very happy with this purchase, and would definitely recommend anyone buying them, especially if they're a short person (like me), because you will definitely grow in height with these boots.
I bought the Lita Spike, so unfortunately I cannot comment on how the original Litas look in person.
They are astoundingly easy to walk in. I almost never wear heels or platforms and literally had mastered walking in my Litas in about 10 minutes. They are also very comfortable for what they are, obviously they are going to be a bit more tiring than a pair of sneakers but they by no means hurt you feet...I wore mine for a full day of being on my feet and my feet were tired after, but not painful or sore.
They are also great statement/conversation pieces. Obv since mine are spiked this is enhanced but they grab attention everywhere you go. Get ready for lots of "how do you walk in those?" comments.
I rarely ever pay more than $75 for shoes but honestly, these are SO worth the price. While they are pretty expensive shoes the quality really is superior and they will last you a very long time as long as you give them the proper leather care.
I am normally a 7.5 and mine were actually kind of snug, so if you're unsure about sizing, go a half size up.
The shoe itself is obviously to die for, these are original Jeffrey Campbell Litas and just like other Jeffrey Campbell shoes I do find that they run about a half size small (I'm normally a 8.5, and I wear a 9 for JC shoes). They smell quite a bit (hopefully that will fade away with time) and in case you haven't seen them before live, the distressed effect is not as exaggerated as in the picture here on Amazon. In real life, these are a matte black with very little sheen. The perfect shoe to elevate an everyday look without making it too dressy. These are sexy and edgy, and 6 inches high (and for that height, they're about as comfortable as heels get).
Overall, these are great shoes and since they're sold out everywhere else I'd suggest getting them ASAP if they have your size! I'm not kidding, I've been eyeing these for ~6 months and when they were released this fall they had them in full stock at solestruck, nordstrom and other retailers and those are now all gone! So get them while they last, & enjoy!
