Blog postI had a wonderful time at the local Stampin' Up! Onstage 2017 event. There were sneak peaks of some amazing new products that will be available in the new Occasions Catalogue. There was business training, demonstrator acknowledgements, make and takes, lots of free products, technique and card making demonstrations, sharing with a very friendly group of people, lunch and more. There are two conferences next year. If you would like to attend one, contact me. You'll find a conta3 years ago Read more

Blog postIn January I joined up as a Stampin' Up! independent demonstrator and since then, I've been so busy with this new handcraft interest (see facebook.com/cardsRfun), that I haven't posted here as much as I was going to. I've put links to my other blogs above.
I'm now holding two workshops a month and attending a variety of related events. I've held stalls at a carnival and garage sale and sold some of my work online.
I've met a lot of lovely ladies and am enjoying the journey. I4 years ago Read more -

Blog postI felt like writing again two weeks ago, so began finishing off an illustrated teen novel I started in 2006. It only took me one week to write it and add some more illustrations. Editing is taking longer as I make a few changes and add a few chapters. I have now finished and printed off the first draft. I think it will be part of a series and I have already started writing and thinking about the second book. This is one of the illustrations for the first book. I think it gives an overview o8 years ago Read more

The letter t is the shape of the cross. It changes the star to start which is alpha.
Tar is a word for thank you. Christmas is a time of thankfulness for the heavenly child - Jesus.

The letter a has the shape of a pregnant woman containing the Alpha.
The alpha star was tarred, coated in flesh and all the blackness of our sins and crucified. He is now the whitest of heavenly stars; the st12 years ago Read more -

Blog postFebruary 2008
Three of my art works are featured in a lovely new Art book called "Being Human" curated by Stuart Davey, with a foreword by Cheryl Lawrie. It contains a collection of works from 27 artists.
"Being Human addresses aspects of humanity that are lost when we are bombarded with pictures of beautiful people or success stories. The artworks boldly address these unacknowledged parts of ourselves, together offering a genuine portrayal of what it mea13 years ago Read more -
Blog postIt was the beginning of the year 2008 and as normal it felt like the holiday was too short. It was time to go back to work and I didn't feel like going. I had been very enthusiastic about work until I had a car accident in 2006. I was tired most of the time but forced myself to keep going. I began to wonder if I should just give it up. Maybe I should be doing something different.
