Alias Vol 1 (AKA Jessica Jones) is a classic. And a way to get a dose of THE ORIGINAL Jessica Jones in between Netflix seasons. I expected the storyline to pretty much follow the TV series but it's a whole other set of challenges, with totally intense story art and overlapping dialogue. Pretty complex. If you love the super-hero genre and especially if you are a badass woman, this is a MUST-READ!

The show is very good, but this is better. I suppose they updated minimally for the show, but this feels more at home here. Highly recommended

Good, slightly cynical look at the world from the eyes of a minor super hero who hung up her cape and now works as a private investigator. Appealed too my sense of humor.

Jessica Jones is hilarious, strong and kinder than she'd ever realize. A great story that I hope doesn't end.

This comic is full of adventure, and we see a new side of Jessica Jones, with a whole bunch of f@&$ and s%#+ and b£^€¥. If is very fun, but a bit 18+...

I really wanted to enjoy this series. Like most, I loved BMB's early run on Ultimate Spiderman, and much of his New Avengers work was good as well. It wasn't until he started writing and controlling a huge portion of the Marvel universe that the quality crashed. So with the TV show being released on Netflix, I decided to check out the source material. The story is pretty good, and as usual Bendis does plenty of snarky dialogue. The artistry is very mediocre, sometimes to the point that it distracts from the story or you have to go back and re-read panels to figure out what is really happening. Many people swear by this series so I'll try volume 2, but I was expecting something more.

Superhero nor. Vulnerable, damaged, yet strong. There's a little Jessica Jones in all of us. Marvel has grown up. Not for the faint of heart.
