It's very dainty and feminine, and I do prefer the patent leather nude. I was also excited to find a slingback in this color. I got the shoe in the mail quickly, opened the box, and was pleased by the overall aesthetic. I slipped it right on to my foot, no problem, no wiggly stuff going on. I wore the shoe on this past Sunday while I was speaking. I spoke for about 20 minutes and the shoe held up fine.
While I wouldn't say it was the most comfortable shoe every, it was not, however, uncomfortable. It is a pointy toe 3-inch heel, so I didn't expect it to fit like my favorite pair of sneakers. Nevertheless, my toes weren't at all "crunched," nor was my heel hanging off the back of the shoe. I could walk well and gracefully without looking like a horse. I am pleased.
I wore the shoes today with a pair of hot pink ankle length dress pants and a leopard print tunic to work. I'm a college professor, and my students raved over the shoes. I taught from 8-12:15 and the shoe didn't cramp or hurt my feet at all during that time.
All and all, I 'm pleased with the shoe. This is surprising, as I have, in the past, had a hard time with the Jessica Simpson brand. The arch seems to be way to high, and I always feel as if I'm going to tip over in the shoe. Not the case this time. I'm happy I followed my first mind and tried this brand in this style again.
If you tend to either over-pronate or under-pronate just a bit, I would NOT recommend these shoes for you as they have absolutely no support on the sides... Unfortunately, due to this, I have only worn them once :(
They are very pretty though- I really wish that they were comfortable to wear!!! :/
