Jessica an eleven year old with Down Syndrome, just wants a Mom. Her Father Phil is a loving dad, and great with Jessica, but he has a fear of relationships since Jessica's Mother left him when she was a baby. Mallory comes home to Stonehill to help her mother, and forms a sweet bind with Jessica. Jessica would love to have Mallory as a Mother and she won't take no for an answer. Will Jessicas' wish come true?
A sweet story with a lovable young girl Jessica at the center. Mallory is very nice and caring, there is a definite attraction between her and Phil. Phil is likable as well, he is a great dad, yet he is cautious around women. Watching the three of them interact was heart-warming.
A romance like none I have read before, Jessica's Wish is a fantastic clean romance. Marci Boudreaux knows how to bring life to her characters and pull you deep into the story and won't let go. A true five star read!
* I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Mallory and Phil become good friends who do everything together. Mallory not only forms a special bond with Jessica but In time She begins to develop feelings for Phil. However, when Phil hears Jessica talking about Mallory becoming her mother, his fear of her getting hurt again makes him pull away and hurt Mallory. Will Phil overcome his fears and let Mallory into their lives or will he allow his insecurities drive her away?
I have read all the books in this amazing series. I truly believe that Marci Boudreaux gets better with each book she writes! I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experiences that each and every character has had. I have laughed and cried right along with them and I am definitely not ready let them go. I can only hope that this series will continue. Not only do I recommend this book, but I recommend the entire series to anybody who enjoys romance novels that definitely restore the belief that true love really does exist.
I received this book from Juniper Grove Book Solutions. I voluntarily reviewed this book. This is my honest review.
Was given and ARC for an Honest review!
Such a beautiful and clean romance novel that filled my heart with joy. I absolutely loved how the author portrayed the insecurities both adults had due to their own heartaches. And because of that, within these pages, the author has showed how love can truly heal pain.
I have not read the previous books in the series (yet), so I had a little trouble in keeping up with all the characters' names towards the beginning. However, after reading this book, I've come to care about these characters and now I would like to know more these people's lives. I plan on reading the first three in the serious.
A definite 5-star rated book! Highly recommended for those who enjoy clean romance and seeing two people grow and realize what they lacked in their lives was love.
