I am a Lutheran and do not practice praying to Mary and the saints. Nevertheless I found this little book to be s treasure of devotional thought and healthy spiritual discipline. As I pray the novena I simply redirect the prayers to Mary and Mother Teresa to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thanking God for the rich examples in the lives of Mary and Teresa and asking the Holy Spirit to reflect in my life the positive qualities of these two, and all the other, Saints. I encourage Christians of all traditions to use this wonderful resource and luxuriate in the spirit of Teresa's trust in Christ, love for Christ, and joy from Christ.

Collections of Mother Teresa's writings and speeches are numerous and widely available. This little book compiles some of her most penetrating spiritual insights in the form of a novena. Each day of it is powerful. While other compilations of Mother Teresa often duplicate material, this short book (originally a booklet published by the Missionaries of Charity), brings together some of her most lucid and deep reflections on our relationship with Jesus. Personally, I find that these selections are among her best, and in such an accessible format.

I love this book. It has devotional readings for each day of nine days of novena. I prayed this novena when my son was experiencing some serious medical problems in Afghanistan and not receiving adequate attention from the Army doctors. Within a few days, he was seen by Air Force doctors who determined he needed to be hospitalized. By the time I was done the novena, he was sent to Germany hospital and then sent back to the States for care. Thank you, Mother Theresa for interceding and pleading for us and thank you God for answering a mother's prayers. This book has such beautiful words that you cannot help but be spiritually moved.

This is a short Prayer book. Its actually a nine day novena.
There is a short introduction. A prayer to Mother Teresa and 9 meditations.
I was very moved by this novena and book. If you know Jesus and want to get closer to Him, I suggest you purchase this book and do the novena frequently.
