What I like about Mr. Limbaugh is the way he approaches the topic. Working with a chronological time line, he explains the Book of Acts and some of Apostle Paul's writings within the time frame of when they were written. There is excellent data, from sources outside of the Christian proofs, to show that Paul and the other apostles traveled to areas in the middle east and Europe proper. Mr. Limbaugh uses details and primary sources to lay out a solid concept of authorship. I was very thankful for what I learned. A useful and needed book. Great read.

This is obviously a very thoroughly and thoughtfully researched book. You will certainly glean new insights into the life of the Apostle Paul. However, the format of the book makes for an unnecessarily challenging read. The author jumps from paraphrasing events in the New Testament, to espousing his personal opinion, to random deep dives into historical events that often add little value to the subject matter. Another challenge is trying to cover so many books of the New Testament in this single volume.
