I absolutely love this cross. I was looking for an inverted cross that didn't have an diabolical symbols on them. After narrowing my search to a few, this one ultimately won for the medieval style. The cross itself feels quite sturdy. I didn't much like the rope necklace it came with, so I put it on one I have and it looks amazing. In case anyone is wondering about the size on the pendant loop, I was able to fit a 4.6mm chain through it with ease.

I wear this mainly at the health club I go to. Many of the other patrons there display upright Jesus crosses on either a.) their clothing b.) tattoos (shoulder or arm, usually) or c.) necklaces of their own. So wearing this inverted cross (i.e. cross of St. Peter) pendant is sort of my way of sticking it to them and others of their ilk.
I've only had mine for a few weeks now, but so far it's held out ok, durability-wise.

A comment on the dimensions: although the quoted pendant length is 2 inches, this figure INCLUDES THE METALLIC LOOP. In other words, if you only include the inverted cross portion, THAT part is more like 1 and 9/16 inches long. The metallic loop (that you should see in the picture) constitutes the remaining ~7/16 inch of length. FYI.

I would also STRONGLY suggest that if you decide to purchase this pendant and wear it around, that you discard the chain that comes with it and replace it with something better. For one, it's basically glorified twine, isn't really built to last, and WILL frey/break on you after enough use (as mine was starting to do before I ditched it). For two, the pendant has a tendency to flip around if you wear it with the original chain, and since the back side of the pendant isn't stamped the way the front is (i.e. it's just a lame-looking matte silver finish), it actually matters which side of the pendant is facing outward.
I took another reviewer's advice and replaced the cheap twine/rope-like chain that came with this and replaced it with a 27" long 3mm military dog tag ball chain. While maybe a tad long, it's overall MUCH better. The pendant no longer flips around the way it did before.

BOTTOM LINE: As long as you're mindful of this pendant's actual dimension's and don't mind wearing around an inverted cross, then this is a good pendant to get. I would, however, discard the original chain in favor of something better/more durable and that won't make the pendant flip around.

UPDATE: My copy of this pendant has now broke, at the bottom of the loop/top of the cross portion; after not quite 3.5 years of use. Note that it broke on me while running (vigorously), which I generally do, 5 times per week. I always wore this, and the dog tag ball chain necklace I wore it on, underneath my shirt while running.

I bought this back when I was a bit more rebellious than I am now and I no longer have it as I lost it after moving. However, back when I had it I enjoyed wearing it. The pendant was decently constructed, it was not too heavy nor too light, it was a good size, and definitely made a statement in my little home town where everyone was very sensitive to religious beliefs that differed from their own. The necklace piece was a cheap but decent leather type cord. Overall the quality of the item was great. I would buy it again if I ever wanted to use it for a costume or make a statement again.

The cross itself is very pretty, but unfortunately the hoop broke off just days after being worn for the first time. It didn't take much effort at all, I just accidentally dropped it on some grass and the hoop broke off, so now I have no way of wearing it. It's very cheaply made, but the design is very nice, and there's no denying that's a beautiful piece of jewelry. Buy at your own risk.

Product description says it's 2 inches, but for some reason I imagined it would be a bit bigger. I was gonna use it for a costume, but it was really too tiny to even show any detail with the rest of my costume, so I just put it away.

The one thing I don't like about it (hence the 4 stars and not 5) is that there is nothing on the back, just a flat surface. I like my necklaces to be two-sided, in case it twists and turns (as necklaces tend to do)
