After carrying Coach Peterson's notes and quotes around in boxes for about a decade Jim Crosby has finally published the very humorous book; "You Can't Become a Football Overnight." Jim is an author and public speaker who broadcast Florida State University baseball on radio for 23 years, was a sports anchor on local television and reports periodically for ESPN Radio.
He has written over 600 articles for newspapers and magazines and published two books. This book of Petersonisms---another way of saying Pete's malapropism is Jim's third book and came out in April 2010. Coach Peterson's unique way of expressing himself has earned him the title: The Yogi Berra of Football.
Jim is also working on a book about Women's Basketball and has already written his Academy Award winning acceptance speech for when the book is adapted into a screenplay and an Oscar is awarded. :)
Obviously he thinks big and though he may not be the sharpest crayon in the box he is one of the most colorful ones. Jim lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife The Lovely Susette. He enjoys, Yoga, Hiking, college and professional sports and is very active as a Lay Speaker in his church. Most of his time is consumed with reading, writing, and reading about writing.
