Jimmy Badavino was born in Troy, N.Y. He attended college in Vermont, and is married with three children. After The Fall of South Bridge was released in 2009, Badavino began working on a second novel and multiple screenplays. In 2014, he released a Fifth Anniversary Edition of The Fall of South Bridge. He and his wife, Illustrator/Designer Christie Colangione-B, have also released many Children's books from their studio, Badavino Creative Studios, in Upstate NY, including The Santa Clock (2010), That's Why They're Called Punkins (2011), The Ballerina's First Dance (2012), and Snow Day Surprises (2013).
