First, this was delayed for several days and showed up late as a birthday present for my wife who has recently ramped up her cooking and baking. This specific torch shows up in the top 3 of every site that reviewed them, and the torch is fine, but I will continue to be irritated that next day shipping turned into over a week.
That said, the only gripe I have about the product is getting it filled. This comes with a can of butane which is nice...what isn't nice or obvious is which tip to use to refill the torch. I got a decent amount of butane into the torch, but no matter what I did I couldn't get it more than about 20% "full" per the marking on the side and I'm not positive that any of the tips are 100% correct.
Even so, it works great once it's filled and the Lemon Merengue Pie my wife used it on to caramelize the merengue was AWESOME (although that's more on my wife than the torch).
