I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Something and it turns out cause this is a part of series but isn’t advertised as such. I guess you don’t have to read the other books but the whole time it’s gonna feel like you are missing something to story. I also hate that all the angst happened “pre book” and this is basically the happy ending. I wanted more
I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Keep writing your characters. Love your words.

I really enjoyed this book, yet for me I felt it was missing something and I can't quite put my finger on what.
I loved that we actually got both POV, which I found isn't often in Cara's books and this was great.
The story was great. I really liked Casey and Boone and their daughter was hilarious (although she should have been older as she did't act like any 9yr old, it would have fit more if she was maybe 13/14)
This story is a bit of a suspense, romcom with a crime twist. I love the connection to Darius and can't wait to see how this story played out when we read it from Darius and Gray's perspective.
Case and Boone are brothers but not by blood, Case was adopted by Boone's Mum when they were younger and I love the taboo-ish books.
Case is super possessive with Boone and it is hawt!
Boone is trying to figure out what Case is to him and he is not willing to let him go, his sexuality comes across as Pan to me but it is not identified during the story.
Both of these guys are fantastic characters and I absolutely love them, they are great parents to their daughter and they have explosive chemistry that just jumps off the page.
i love their communication, they don't hold back and work so freaking well together both on the job and in their relationship.
