(Folks, please trust me when I tell you that I understand the "uncomfortableness" of this topic but, it is sometimes a necessary evil. SO,)
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a very, very useful, and sometimes necessary, aid for the continued self help (respect) of people who, for whatever reason, have great difficulty in cleaning themselves after using the toilet.
I currently weigh 500lbs and my arm is no longer long enough to reach where it is sometimes needed, I have tried several "aids" and this is the best by far. Both the handle and the paper ends are covered with what seems to be a type of gripping rubber (I do not know if it is latex on not, sorry). This rubber material allows for a secure hand hold as well as a non-slip surface for the paper. The tool is of sufficient width as to give good coverage which may prevent some of the need for multiple attempts. The length is definitely adequate for people in my situation. The tool is curved so that it seems to "fit" the angles needed for the most comfortable use and positioning. DO NOT try to use this tool from the side, only the front (please read the provided instruction paper).
I have noted a slight difficulty--it takes a little practice in getting the paper into the slot provided, I use my finger turned so that the thinner portion is used to insert the paper ends, this seems to work best for me. All you need to do is be a little patient and figure it out for yourself. You also need to be careful and hold the handle and not the "button" that is used to release the paper as it doesn't seem sturdy enough to take any sideways pressure.Read more ›

It works much better! It grips the paper better the other one, the rubbery head (rather than smooth plastic) gives you a better wipe, it uses less toilet paper, you never get your hands dirty because of how the ejection button works.
This is a simpler, cheaper option, that is engineered better!
Almost a year later this tool still works well. I even take it with me when I travel.
It has been almost 2 years since my surgery, and I still has problems twisting my back and I still use the Long Reach Comfort wipe. I own several of them, and modified one to make it portable. I shortened it so it would fit in my purse and this makes it possible for me to have it with me when I am not at home. I am uploading a collage of two photos showing my modification in case other people will find useful. Using a small hex saw I cut the wipe right next to the green handle. I wrapped the cut edge with duck tape to make it smooth. By cutting off the handle I lost the ejection mechanism, so to removed the toilet paper I need to gently tug on a clean paper in the back of the wiper. This is less convenient than the ejection mechanism, however having it be more discrete and fit in my purse is worth that compromise.
Photo #1 shows the modified wiper and cut off handle next to the ruler. The "portable" wiper is about 9.5 inches.Read more ›

This thing never worked for me. I read the very vague instructions and tried multiple times with a ton of toilet paper and wipes.Published 21 hours ago by Amazon Customer
I threw it out. I can't image how anyone could use it. Not worth even wasting time saying anything else.Published 1 day ago by T Matthew Cook
This is impossible to use! It doesn't get to the area that is needed to get cleaned, needs to be much better angled. Read morePublished 2 days ago by Connie Estep

Keeps me from twisting my back and being in a world of hurt. The pressure to hold the product on could be better, but still worth using.Published 4 days ago by Sandy R.
