From the manufacturer
Headquartered in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jockey International, Inc. was founded in 1876 by Samuel T. Cooper, a retired minister who wanted to help lumberjacks suffering from blisters and infections caused by their shoddy wool socks. Consumers learned they could trust him, and his tiny hosiery business grew and then expanded into underwear. As we have grown in size and sophistication, that simple commitment to serve our customers has continued to be our hallmark…and the secret of our success.

I noticed some reviewers said they did not get a Jockey robe. The robe I received has the Jockey logo printed inside just below the collar. The care tag at the bottom of the robe says "made in China." I purchased my robe from "Amazon Export Sales, Inc," and I believe it to be an actual Jockey robe. The robe is true to size.
I didn't like the permanently connected robe tie, so I removed the rectangle of stitching in the back and made tie holders to better fit my waist placement. I thought I'd have to do some further sewing to make the robe tie complete, but it came off ready to be used.
