THEY WILL SEND YOU THE PART FOR FREE, BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL AND ASK FOR IT TO BE SENT TO YOU.
This pressure washer works GREAT! I took it out of the box and was able to wash down my front porch easily. My children ages 6-11 each took at turn using it and had no problems. It has lots of pressure and was able to wash the grime off the bricks and concrete with very little effort. It has lots of nozzles and the instruction manual is terrific.
Unfortunately, after we disconnected everything and went to the backyard to reconnect it again the connector piece that connects the machine to the water hose wouldn't make a good seal. The connector is PLASTIC and the grooves in the plastic stripped the first time we unscrewed it. We were able to carefully tighten it and turn the water on and use it...sometimes the grip would hold for a minute or two but most of the time the hose shot off the machine spraying water everywhere. After an hour of frustration (water hose disconnecting a dozen times) we called the manufacturer. They said it was a KNOWN PROBLEM and they would send us a replacement BRASS connector for FREE (which they do sell for $10 on their website). Sadly, this machine is useless without it. If you buy this machine, register it online and immediately (they won't send you the part if you don't register it) call the manufacturer and ask for the replacement connector. If you don't you'll be like us...looking at a striped back porch while we wait on the part we need to finish the job.

Real life test shows your actually getting 1.176 GPM with the 40, 25, 15, 0, deg. Nozzle's, NOT 1.76
..If you were to include the soaper tip and no tip test results, you could get closer to the claim of 1.76 gallons per minute.
Hey remember they're advertisements for your eyeballs, and your finger to purchase with a click.
Using a sacrificial rag over the nozzle which will have a hole blown through it by the nozzle pressure, inserting that into a shop vac hose, and then going into a funnel, that is going into an empty 1 gallon milk jug container. I was able to get accurate water flow, without all the air flow created from the high-pressure tips.
I dare anyone to take the high-pressure tip and stick it into an empty milk jug and pull the trigger, LOL!
I was very surprised when testing higher, and higher pressure tips that the pump was able to maintain the gpm flow exactly, I expected GPM to drop down slightly with each higher pressure tip change test. (Nice Pump)
The SPX3000 unit rated pressure is 1450 from page 4 of the user manual.
Download the PDF and look for yourself.
I need this pressure washer to work with other attachments at rated line pressure & GPM flow. So facts are important, gimmicks are not. I am using a universal wand with universal adapters ( Power Care Gun/Hose 100664072 rated 2000 psi) , to run a karcher 250 surface cleaner. (yellow one, & yellow nozzle tips)
I wish this unit would deliver 1.76 GPM, the results could only be even more amazing.
.. but, with 1.176 GPM the results are very good.
As a result of consumer testing, I believe the public, we will find that all the manufacturers have all tweaked the numbers and facts, so each competitor can look better than the other. LOL.
Conclusion: SPX3000 Still best unit.
I will highly recommend this unit on it's own merit, it is simply the best electric washer I have used so far, and has a 2 year warranty to back it up, I don't appreciate the deceptive numbers, enough said.
Knowing what I know now, and having used it, I would buy it all over again.
I am going to update my test results, to also include the line pressure on each tip.
Fluid filled pressure gauge with Quick Connect, should be here in about 2 weeks.

I also had the leaking fitting that was mentioned by others, but when I found it hard to remove, I realized I must have cross-threaded it. The metal pipe that you attach a plastic fitting to that then attaches to the hose has sharp, machine-cut pipe threads. It's easy to get the plastic slightly cross-threaded so it's not straight enough to seal against the rubber washer. This fitting is only put on once, then it's left on. When it's on straight, it does not leak at all.
The parts you can see such as the hoses, fittings, etc. seem to all be very high quality. I called Sun Joe and talked to the Tech before I bought the machine and was told it has an induction motor and a piston pump. The unit runs very smoothly, and is much quieter than I expected. The nozzles work good, and are easy to change. I found I was bending over just a bit when using the widest fan on some really tough mildew so I switched to the next nozzle so I could straighten up and get the same results.
The Tech said to get "pressure washer soap" from a big box store as the wrong soap can harm the unit. The pressure washer soap @ HD has very fine print that says it is only for use with pressure washers that inject the soap at the nozzle. That soap is not for use in this machine as it runs the soap through the pump. (I called the Tech about this as they were not aware of the fine print.) The cleaning I've done so far, a car and its mag wheels, and 2 large concrete patio areas with 40+ years of Florida mildew were done quickly with no soap. If I ever do use soap, I think I'll just dump it on the surface from a bucket, then it can't harm the machine, and probably overall saves time because the machine does not then have to be flushed.
Flush the air out of your garden hose so it is full of water before you attach it to the machine. Bleeding a hose full of air through the tiny nozzle takes longer, and if you don't get the air out and turn the motor on, you can ruin a really good machine. (The trigger on the wand is a manual valve. There is a pressure switch to stop the pump motor when you release the trigger, but if the machine is full of air, not water, the pressure won't build, and the motor won't stop until something melts.) The last bit of air is bled through the wand by pulling the trigger, but be sure the motor is not yet turned on.
One last suggestion, get, or make a plug to go where the garden goes when the machine is not hooked up to the hose so mud daubers, or other little critters don't get stuff inside where it will go thru the pump.
