Joe Sanchez, Entrepreneur, Author, Artist, IT Enthusiast.
After serving in the Marine Corps Joe Sanchez spent a few years in Yuma, Arizona as a test engineer mechanic at YPG.
Later he completed a degree in Computer Information Systems and started working at Northrop Grumman in desktop support where he got his first taste of supporting VMware (beta) around 1998.
Joe Sanchez has spent more than 15 years designing, building and supporting information technology. He has grown up through the technical ranks from desktop support to his current role as an IT Manager in charge of all aspects of managing and supporting a large IT department.
In Joe’s current role, he manages staff responsible for VMware vSphere and Citrix, as-well-as everything in-between such as iPads and cellphones. To say the least, Joe has seen his share of IT challenges and can write about them with conviction.
Along the way, Joe has worked as a Lead VMware Engineer for Capgemini and Apollo Group. He owned and operated a part-time startup that went on to become a fulltime business, Yuma Computer Services, which he later sold before relocating to the Phoenix area.
His other interests are blogging on VMInstall.com and writing. He also plays the guitar and has written and copyrighted songs and music.
