Even after being left outside (for two months now) to "air out," the odor remains unabated. So, if you order the product and find it similarly, my suggestion would be to return it promptly rather than waiting for it to improve.
The odor is not merely offensive; it's so putrid that it prevents any reasonable product use.
I have not had any problems with my lacrosse ball. This is probably because I got an orange one. You should get an orange one too. It's the best.
Don't use these for playing fetch with a dog, unless it is a giant dog. Lacrosse balls are rather dense and can hurt the dog's teeth. Even using an orange one doesn't change this fact.

I was so excited for this treat to arrive and when it did I was incredibly disappointed at how awful it tasted I didn't even finish the last half 1/10 would not eat againPublished 9 months ago by Benjamin mattinen
Nothing wrong with these. Works great. Not sure why people complain about the smell cause there isn't a smell. Plus I didn't buy it to smell it but rather use it on muscles.Published 9 months ago by Ryan
Using for self massage of hard to reach places. Perfectly suited for massage because it is so dense. I did need to let it air out to get rid of some of the chemical smell.Published 12 months ago by MD
I don't use these in the traditional sense. I use them for self myofascial release. For that purpose, it is very effective. The price is right and I've had it for over a year.Published 13 months ago by Keith
Planned to use it along with a foam roller to work out knots and strains in muscles. I found the size to be too small for any effective use. Ended up as a bouncy dog toy.Published 16 months ago by VRG Matt
I use this as a substitute for a concentration self myofascial release ball, since foam is too soft for me. Read morePublished 16 months ago by Ashley
