Denmark has a long tradition of free expression that has allowed art and design to flourish. Influenced by the German Bauhaus school, Danish designers have become world famous for their clean lines and high-quality craftsmanship. In addition to inspired furniture popularized by renowned designers like Arne Jacobsen and innovative architecture like Jørn Utzon’s world famous Sydney Opera House, the Danes have also made a name for themselves in the watch industry.
Johan Eric watches are characterized by slim, modern lines, superb craftsmanship and great value. This is exactly what Danish newcomer Johan Eric offers customers. Johan Eric watches take the best traditions of Danish Modern design and update them for the 21st Century.
By combining the principles of contemporary design with innovative techniques like vacuum ion plating and new materials like carbon fiber, ceramic materials, and stainless steel, Johan Eric has managed to create styles that are uniquely suited for today’s world.
Like the diverse city of Copenhagen that provided inspiration for the brand, a Johan Eric watch is a unique blend of the classic and the very contemporary. Designs like the ultra-modern Skive, or the classic tonneau-shaped Tondor, with its beautiful integrated mesh band, are equally at home around the house or at the dressiest occasions.
Each of Johan Eric’s stunning contemporary designs is paired with a precision Swiss made quartz moment, for reliable, trouble-free operation. The fit and finish of these watches is impeccable, often featuring precise laser inscribed numbers and logo. Most models are equipped with a screw on case back that is water resistant to 330 feet. A stunning Johan Eric perpetual calendar watch showcases the brand with three attractive sub dials showing days of the week, days of the month and 24-hour UTC time.
This young company is continually adding exciting new collections that reflect the evolving taste of today’s modern world.
Add charm to your modern look with this mesh band watch by Johan Eric. Bold stainless steel, with an extra-slim case creates a sleek and edgy look that adds sophistication to any man's wrist.

Update, January 2016: Still love it and no moisture issues!!
Update: I have taken many showers since adding the o-ring on the back and I have had no leaks. I believe the watch repair guy also greased the new o-ring as well as the two seals on the crown and stem. I am very pleased with the watch and wear it every day, but I won't rate the watch higher because I feel that the watch maker should have installed the o-ring them selves just like they do on even the cheapest watches and that they should not tell people that the watch is water resistant to 5 atmospheres when the watch is not even minimally sealed.
Update (7/12/2015): I have sat with the watch submerged in a hot tub and it still has remained water tight and free of any leaks at all thanks to the watch repair kiosk in the Santa Clarita (Valencia) Sears.

Great watch, especially for 20 bucks! Do not get this thing too wet, washing your hands is the most water it can handle. The most stylish watch that can be purchased new for $20.Published 11 months ago by drewski
Love it! It's slim and simple. The band has an oval shape which was a little weird until it got hot. Then it fit just finePublished 13 months ago by Spencer
The watch is sweet for the price, but the face is rather bland. That may just be me. The band is way cool and does not pull your arm hair, well not very often.Published 13 months ago by Logan Raban
the clasp is difficult to use. because older fingers are no longer work wrell.Published 14 months ago by William J Phillipsj
