We are studying explorers right now for school and I got this book to help supplement what we are studying. I found it good for a bit of extra information. There is not a lot of indepth information about him because there is apparently not a lot known. But it was a great little book to help my girls a get a better feel of who he was and to let them know that there were others besides Columbus out there sailing the seas and discovering America.

A Kid's Review on October 4, 2004
Format: Library Binding
I read this book today for a history report. I thought this book would give me a lot of information about John Cabot but I was wrong. It only tells you all the things that we do not know about him, like where and when he was born and where he lived. It tells that no one knows for sure where he sailed and when and where and how he died. I wrote that in my report and I got a C-. That is the only C-I ever got because I am a good student. Don't bother to read the book. It won't tell you a thing.
