John Lennon's Tooth: How I Met the Beatles, Thanks to Dorothy Kindle Edition
In September of 1967, I walked up to John Lennon's home south of London. John was asleep, but his housekeeper, Dorothy, let me wait in his garage until he awoke. John came out and invited me in. We spoke about meditation, movies, and music and he invited me to drive into London in his Rolls-Royce, where I witnessed my very first recording session. It was "I Am The Walrus."
44 Years later, I read online about John's tooth coming up for auction, offered by the family of Dorothy, who was now 91 years old. I couldn’t believe it. She was the lady who altered my destiny, and she was still alive. We had our first meeting via Skype and I finally was able to thank her. Then she told me her story, which has never been published before, about life at home with John and his family, teaching John how to drive, and other anecdotes from back in the day.

It is always interesting to me to add one more missing piece to the lives of my beloved Beatles. I enjoyed the book but wish it could have been longer

Mr. Bonzai brings us unique insights into the creative work and the lives of the people behind the scene and the stars on stage and this one is no exception. Highly readable and entertaining!

An OK read. the stories of a couple of folks who were personally connected to John Lennon and his early rapidly life with Cynthia and Julian. might have been better if it had been better written. I enjoyed the stories but there should have been more detail.

As the purchaser of the tooth it really helped get an appreciation for the place in history that it encapsulated. The author had a noteworthy experience!

Two different stories are craftily woven together to give an unusually intimate perspective on the private life of John Lennon. Great job Mr.B!

It makes buying John's tooth even more special- I mean his molar. So many current stories relate to issues mentioned in this special book. To be able to share your unique experiences takes the reader back in time. I hope we can have a beer some day. Michael Zuk - JohnLennonDNA.com

Story line a bit fractious and does not follow any particular order. Worth reading if just for history information and interest

Ahh Dot sounds lovely. David’s a lucky bugger. Who wouldn’t have loved to have been a fly on the wall in abbey road studios listening to early playbacks of the white album?

The narrative and timeline was not always clear and jumped about. Nevertheless thanks to Dorothy for her memories of John.
