I have just finished reading Bob Whitakers new book, "Why Johnny Can't Think". While anyone with children in the American education system should put this book on their to read list, this book is a must read for those of us with children in or soon to be in college. In his new book Bob knocks the roof in of the liberal fortress that is the American education system. With a "shoot from the hip" style that only Whitaker can deliver, "Why Johnny Can't Think" is a sobering look at the American education system. Whitaker treads ground that few, if any, writers even dare to explore. He reveals the American education system for what it is, a staging ground for liberal ideas. You may think you know what is going on in our schools, colleges, and universities but there is more of an agenda within the system then many Americans are aware of or are willing admit exist. This carfully constructed agenda is nothing more then a line of liberal rhetoric that is force fed to our children from Kindergarten to University. Rest assured Bob crosses that line and enters a realm of reality and logic that few contemporary authors will cross when discussing the American education system.

"Why Johnny Can't Think", does not offer any hidden messages or buzzwords, Bob is direct and precise as to who, what, where and why our education system does what it does. He opens the door to the false, reckless, and dangerous ideologies that are the mainstay of American university thought, once the door is open Whitaker walks in and cleans house. In exposing the education system for what it is, Bob can't help but expose the academic cabal that shapes and directs the American education system itself, the "Social Scientists". "Why Johnny Can't Think" is the light that sends these cockroaches scurrying to their holes.

If the "pen is mightier than the sword", then this book is nothing less than a Molotov cocktail! Why Johnny Can't Think is that he's been educated to believe that college professors should run the world. That is Whitaker's definition of Leftism, and he goes on to make the point with crystalline clarity.
This is NOT your stereotypical "conservative" book. The author begins where the "Respectable Conservative" leaves off. He is not concerned about proving that everything liberals and social scientists have done has led to disastrous results. Anyone who can still think knows that to be true. No need for conspiracy theories or "the sky is falling" hysteria. Liberals run the universities and media because they are human beings, and all human beings act to further their own interests. No one is suprised that businessmen will conspire to fix prices, or that career military men promote wars and weapons programs. Why should anyone be suprised that EVERY solution proposed by leftists involves more money and power for social scientists?
Whitaker calls for nothing short of a revolution. An intellectual revolution, one that demands university professors and social scientists be held accountable for producing programs and theories that actually work. Why not? We are paying them. How do we achieve this? Laugh at their nonsense, heap scorn on their silliness, and use our common sense.
The author makes brilliant comparisons of our social sciences to primitive medicine, with it's bleedings and "humors". Likewise with the business monopolies of the turn of the last century. This is a real cause for optimism, as one day we will look back on these liberal programs and their advocates the way we looked on the leechers of the 18th century.

When an accomplished author, published by major publishing houses, suddenly discovers he is an untouchable, even by alternate publishing houses, you know he has stuck his finger squarely in the eye of someone's sacred cow. Such is the case with this offering of Mr. Robert W. Whitaker.
Mr. Whitaker, in "Why Johnny Can't Think," has identified the true problem with our educational "system," Social Scientist.
The Social Scientist is an overeducated, tenured, kissing cousin of Karl Marx, and the mother and father of our Politically Correct society today. These people truly believe they should be the rulers of the rest of us. Only they have the "vision." Never mind that their visions have cost us billions, with absolutely no results, unless you consider making the "problem" worse results.
Social Scientists are aided, in their foolishness, by self-labeled "Conservatives." The "Conservative" must respect the "SS" and all their points of view if they want face time, on TV, or airtime on the radio. The next time you see a "Conservative" showing difference to a "SS," discount anything they have to say on the subject.
What we really need is a strong voice against the idiocy of the "SS" and Mr. Whitaker has stepped up to the plate and provided that voice. "Why Johnny Can't Think" should be read by every parent and grandparent immediately. It should be required reading, prior to the start of school annually, from the age of ten on.

This is a great book to get if you want to wake up your friends. It's funny, insightful, and shows Political Correctness for what it really is: anti-white racism. It also shows us how we can put an end to this injustice for the sake of us and our children.
