This is an incredibly nifty combination, and when properly placed is VERY convenient. Simple, yet highly effective design. The materials and craftsmanship are top-notch. The cup holds a significant number of caps (haven't filled it yet).
I've read in other reviews about bottle breakages, and one reviewer even claiming to have broken the opener itself. The only way I can see breaking a bottle with this mounted opener is if you were to strike it with the bottle. There's just no way from opening a normal press or twist cap for breakage. As for breaking this opener, I say "Post a picture or it didn't happen". This opener is super tough. I can't speak on the magnetic version's ability to hold caps, but the opening elements I imagine are identical with both.
A note to Amazon - You should separate this product into two different listings: 1) For the magnetic version, and 2) For the cup version with a pulldown to choose black or green cups. That would give a more accurate representation to potential buyers of the product they're choosing.
A note to Höfats - Great job! One suggestion though, a version with holes for mounting via screws instead of the adhesive would be a welcome option (but still offer the adhesive version alongside it).
