To be honest I've got to say that the IDW issues of RIP KIRBY and AGENT CORRIGAN are superior to the Hermes Johnny Hazard issues. The IDW paper is matt which I think is better espelially when the strips are black/white.And of course the size of the IDW books is far better. Funny thing is that Hermes started previously the Buck Rogers bigger in 9"x12" and then made Haz in the smaller size 6x10. I think that Hermes is not in posession of real Master copies of the strip and in that case if they had made the print of the strip bigger it would've become blurry.
Even in this volume I noticed that the quality / sharpness of the print varies from one day to the nother.
Sometimes it's even difficult to read the date of the strip or the signature....not to talk of the copyright mark.
Nevertheless I'm glad that the series continues even if it has some errors. I think this will be the last run for a complete release of the Johnny Hazard strips
