Tackle building projects more easily with the help of the 40-6543 self-leveling rotary laser level from Johnson Level. Featuring the company's signature GreenBrite technology, the tool emits a green 360-degree horizontal or vertical beam that's 400 percent more visible than red beams projected by traditional laser levels. The beam helps you establish a level plain--great for putting in drop-ceilings or kitchen cabinets. Included with the level are tinted glasses, a remote control, and a hard carrying case.

Great for indoor use, the 40-6543 rotary laser level projects a 360-degree horizontal or vertical beam of light to establish a level plain. This is handy for anything from installing chair rails and drop-ceilings to putting in kitchen cabinets. The beam is actually a single dot of light that can rotate at 150, 200, 250, and 300 RPM to give the appearance of a 360-degree chalk line. To switch the tool from a horizontal beam to a vertical one, simply turn it on its side.
Well suited for contractors, framers, and other building professionals, the 40-6543 rotary laser level can help you complete projects more quickly and with fewer people than you could using a traditional level.
GreenBrite Technology for Greater Visibility
Featuring Johnson's signature GreenBrite technology, the 40-6543 rotary laser level projects a green beam that is 400 percent more visible than traditional red beams. This can make your leveling work easier and more accurate.
Self-Levels for Increased Accuracy
Unlike bubble and spirit levels, whose accuracy depends on the people holding them, the 40-6543 rotary laser level self-levels automatically in the horizontal plane to within plus or minus 3.5 degrees. Consequently, as long as your level is calibrated correctly, you can tackle building projects with confidence and achieve error-free results. The tool also has an illuminated vertical vial for manual leveling in the vertical plane. Visual and audible alarms let you know when the device is out of level.
Accurate to Within 1/8 of an Inch
To help you take precise measurements for your project, the 40-6543 is accurate to within plus or minus 1/8 of an inch at up to 100 feet away. It has an interior range of up to 400 feet in diameter, depending on the light conditions.
Comes with a Remote Control
Included with the 40-6543 rotary laser level is a handy remote control that allows you to operate the level from up to 50 feet away in any direction.
The 40-6543 rotary laser level can be operated continuously for up to approximately 16 hours with the rechargeable battery pack. A locking mechanism protects the inner pendulum when the level is being carried. The level measures 7.953 by 7.087 by 6.378 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 4.409 pounds.
