★★★★★ Fantasy at its best!
At first all I can say is WOW, just WOW! I wasn't sure I'd like it when I read the blurb, but it quickly became a non-stop page turner. The action, adventure, unique storyline - it just all came together beautifully. I can't believe Mr. Monson can write this and be a teacher. As a retired teacher I know how much time you don't have. Very high praise for you sir.

★★★★★ I'm hooked!
I can't wait to continue following these endearing characters on their truly intriguing and unpredictable adventure.
A refreshingly original, fast moving storyline with clever twists and turns begins to weave and reveal a much larger and far more challenging plot.
I found great potential in this first book of Monson's trilogy and expect to be well rewarded as relationships deepen, characters are tested and good triumphs over evil. Its good to be reminded, there is a little godliness in us all.

★★★★★ Refreshing and fun read!
It's been a long time since I've read a book that I stayed up into wee hours of the night reading because I couldn't put it down. This is a great, original, creative story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next two books! Highly recommend!

It started with an unquenchable thirst for adventure.
It ends with The Return.
