This functions very well. It can easily be used with one hand. Filling is easy and soap flows out well. You can also pretty easily tip just about anything you need to put some soap into under it without much problem. And it can definitely be used like a regular pump, pressed from the top. All indications so far is this is a well made product that will last.
The only problem is that even in the lack of another more conventional soap pump, it's confusing enough to some people that they will think you don't have soap in your bathroom. I doubt the manufacture would ever see this review, but it would be cool to see if they could design one that was still as aesthetically pleasing to look at, but maybe tapered in at the top so it was more identifiable to the population as a whole as a soap dispenser.
The reason it's a 4 star review and not 5 star is simply the size. I wear XL size gloved and my hands dont exactly fit inside this 'C'. For anyone with smaller hands, this is a great product.
Bonus - I do love the peek through window to see how much soap is left in the container.
Top reviews from other countries
Looking at other reviews, the only negatives I can see might either because of faulty examples or, more likely, are due to trying to use very thick viscous liquid soap. With thin soap, it dispenses very easily with a tiny pressure on the pad, and there would certainly be no need to grasp the bottle, which someone commented got very dirty.
Pricey but worth it!
no touch ones that need batteries. My kitchen is now complete
with Joseph Joseph kitchen items, this make is simply the best
to buy, bit pricey but worth it.
one word for using it for the first time you do need to pump the
bottle a few times before the liquid will come out.
I don't think it is entirely a waste of money as i use it the 'designer' way when hands are dirty from food prep so it is kept it in the kitchen.
