Just input from someone who's physically handled it but not bought. Also..it's a GREAT idea, in theory. Just too small.
So neat and organized! The build quality of the set is pretty nice. The stand is sturdy and stable, and the cutting boards and their tabs are solid. Being dishwasher safe is convenient. The cutting boards themselves are a relatively soft plastic that is easy to scratch and cut, which isn't really a bad thing at all (contrary to reviews I've seen on other boards). On a cutting board, the board is supposed to protect your knife by being soft and giving under pressure, which means your knife's edge stays sharp instead of dulling (that's why glass cutting boards are absolutely terrible for your knives).
This set is a bit pricey. Some people also don't like the look of scratched and gouged cutting boards, and while it is indeed unattractive, it isn't necessarily a bad thing, as I've mentioned earlier. The biggest gripe I have is that these boards are a bit small, measuring 13.25" x 9.25" each.
I hope Joseph Joseph makes a bigger version in the future, but aside from that, it's not a bad set of cutting boards.
In summary, one gets 4 nice cutting boards in a sharp looking vertical stand that is sharp enough to leave out, resulting in the boards being easily accessible while cooking.
White board Stains easy
so be careful not to use things like carrots or red onions on there too often.

Ordered as a gift. Box came with no damage. When opened by the gift recipient the base was broken. Amazon refunded. Ordered a second time. Same thing only the base was worse. Read morePublished on March 9, 2014 by Tammy J. Ruder
I loved the idea of a neat, slim-lined cutting board and holder. However it arrived chipped and broken at the base. Read morePublished on January 22, 2014 by Maria Alicia Prouty
Cutting board set too small, reported size and what actually came is much smaller. It is not functional at this size.Published on July 13, 2013 by California native
I bought this because I wanted a compact set of chopping boards. This not only looks great, they are solid and durable and are worth, in my opinion, the extra money.Published on May 28, 2013 by Michael B Walker
